Welcome to Neo-Noir Entertainment. These Terms & Conditions apply to neonoirentertainment.com and to our online store at store.neonoirentertainment.com (together, the “Sites”). The Sites are owned and operated by J. I. Jones, trading as Neo-Noir Entertainment (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using the Sites or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

1. About the Sites

The main website showcases our creative work, including fiction, game development, comics and visual media. The store sells official Neo-Noir Entertainment merchandise and books.

2. Using the Sites

By using the Sites you agree to:

  • Use them for lawful purposes only.
  • Not copy, reproduce or redistribute any content without our permission.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, alter or damage the Sites or their security.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Sites belongs to Neo-Noir Entertainment and J. I. Jones unless stated otherwise. This includes text, artwork, characters, branding, logos, video, audio, code, game assets and downloadable material. You may not use, reproduce or distribute it for commercial or public purposes without written permission. Buying a product gives you the physical item only, not any right to reproduce the designs or stories on it.

4. Use of AI tools

Some of our work may involve AI-assisted tools during the creative process, such as drafting support, visual concept exploration or workflow tasks. All creative direction, story development, editing and final decisions are made by J. I. Jones. AI-assisted content is protected in the same way as the rest of our content. You may not reuse it, reproduce it, or use it to train AI systems without permission.

5. Orders and payment

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery costs and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.
  • Payments are processed securely by PayPal and WooPayments. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Merchandise is made to order and fulfilled by Printful. Books are printed on demand by Lulu. Because items are produced after you order, dispatch and delivery times are estimates and can vary.
  • We may cancel an order if an item is unavailable or a price has been shown in error. If we do, you will receive a full refund.

6. Refunds and returns

Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how to return an item or report a fault. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. External links and third parties

The Sites may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or policies.

8. Limitation of liability

We take care to keep the Sites accurate and available, but we cannot promise they will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the Sites. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. No professional advice

Content on the Sites is for creative and informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although this does not remove any rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Sites means you accept the updated Terms.
